The lower-right information area has two tabs: Recent Play Report and File Info. These are display-only features. Switching between them does not affect automation, on-air audio, the playlist, or the Audio Library.
The Recent Play Report shows the most recent carts that actually took air on the selected station. Entries are listed newest first and include:
Time Played — The actual time the server put the cart on air, not its originally scheduled time.
Cart Number
Title
Artist
The report can display up to 200 recent plays. Timed-break markers, floating-break markers, and satellite source markers are not listed because they are automation instructions rather than audio-library carts. Preview Player audio and Hot Key playback also do not count as regular On Air Playlist plays.
The AAE loads the station’s recent as-played history from the server when the screen opens and then adds new entries as carts take air.
To view the report, click the Recent Play Report tab. The report is informational and cannot be edited or cleared from this screen.
Select a cart in the Audio Library.
Click File Info next to the Library controls.
The display automatically switches to the File Info tab.
Review the cart number, title, artist, and saved file-information notes.
The information box is read-only and supports multiple lines and scrolling. If the cart does not have any saved notes, it displays:
(No file info saved for this cart)
To add or change these notes, open the cart in the full Audio Library Manager. Changes cannot be made from the On Air screen.
The Info button above the On Air Playlist also uses the File Info area:
Select a playlist row.
Click Info.
The display switches to the File Info tab.
For a playlist selection, the panel shows the event’s cart number, title, artist, runtime, EOM setting, and audio type. If no playlist row is selected, the AAE uses the current on-air event when one is available.
Click Recent Play Report to return to the recent-play list. Click File Info to return to the most recently displayed cart or playlist information. Selecting a tab only changes what is displayed; it does not start, stop, preview, schedule, or modify audio.
