APEX Privacy Policy

Arrakis Systems, Inc. (“Arrakis Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of users of the APEX automation system and APEX Cloud services.

Information We Collect

APEX may collect information necessary to create and maintain your account and provide access to the APEX service. This information may include your name, email address, account identifiers, station information, and information associated with your use of APEX.

When you choose to sign in using Google, APEX may receive basic account information provided through Google authentication, such as your email address, name, and Google account identifier. APEX uses this information to authenticate your identity and provide access to authorized APEX stations and services.

How We Use Information

Information collected by APEX is used to:

• Authenticate users and maintain user accounts.

• Provide access to APEX stations and services.

• Determine which stations and features a user is authorized to access.

• Maintain the security and reliability of the APEX service.

• Provide technical support and communicate with users regarding the service.

• Improve the operation and functionality of APEX.

APEX does not use Google user data for advertising purposes.

Google User Data

APEX's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

APEX accesses only the Google account information necessary to authenticate the user and provide the requested APEX functionality. We do not sell Google user data or share Google user data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Arrakis Systems takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information associated with APEX accounts. Account and service information may be stored using cloud infrastructure and other systems used to operate the APEX service.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and security records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Sharing of Information

Arrakis Systems does not sell personal information collected through APEX.

Information may be shared with service providers that are necessary to operate APEX, such as hosting, authentication, database, and infrastructure providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect the security of Arrakis Systems, APEX, or its users.

User Control and Data Deletion

Users may contact Arrakis Systems to request information regarding their account or request deletion of their APEX account and associated personal information, subject to information that we may be required to retain for legal, security, or business purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy as APEX changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
