User profiles let you save different arrangements of the On-Air screen and switch between them. Profiles are available on supported APEX models; New Wave does not support custom profiles.
To create a profile:
1. Open Settings and click Configure User Profiles.
2. Enter a new profile name (or select a current profile) in the blank profile box. Use a descriptive name, such as “Morning Show” or “Weekend.”
3. Select a Hot Key configuration:
Configuration Screen arrangement
2 Small Hot Key Pages Two small Hot Key panels, Library, and Preview Player / File Info.
1 Medium Hot Key Page One wide Hot Key panel spanning two small-panel spaces. Library and Preview Player / File Info remain available.
1 Large Hot Key Page One large Hot Key panel occupying all four small-panel spaces, replacing Library and Preview Player / File Info.
3 Small Hot Key Pages Adds a third Hot Key panel in place of Library.
4 Small Hot Key Pages Adds third and fourth Hot Key panels in place of Library and Preview Player / File Info.
4. Arrange the panels using the screen preview:
- Click a panel to select it.
- Click another panel to exchange their positions.
- Moving the Playlist exchanges it with an entire column of two smaller panels. Panel sizes remain fixed.
- With Medium or Large Hot Keys, the Playlist can be positioned only at the far left or far right.
5. Click Save, then Close.
Choose the Hot Key configuration before arranging panels, because changing configurations may reset some panel positions.
To edit an existing profile:
1. Open Settings → Configure User Profiles.
2. Open the profile dropdown and select the profile you want to edit.
3. Change its Hot Key configuration or panel arrangement.
4. Click Save and confirm that you want to update the existing profile.
To save the arrangement as a separate profile, enter a different name before saving.
To use a profile in the On-Air player:
1. Open the On-Air Player.
2. Open the profile dropdown and select a profile.
3. The screen rearranges immediately. The dropdown remains visible and displays the active profile.
Your selection is remembered. Saving a profile in Settings does not automatically activate it; select it in the On-Air Player when you are ready.
Default always restores the original screen arrangement and cannot be overwritten. You can use it as a starting point, then save your changes under another name.
Profiles are saved for your signed-in user and the selected station. They are available on other computers when you sign in with the same account and select the same station.
